CONSTRUCTION WORKERS' UNION of UKRAINE
We unite more than 50 thousand workers in construction and building materials industry, students and teachers of educational institutions in construction throughout Ukraine.Together, we struggle for safe working conditions, decent wages and compliance with legal guarantees of the rights of all male and female workers in construction industry.
OUR POWER IS IN UNITY!
Despite there being an invasion of Russian military and nightly missiles landing in Ukraine's major cities, the TRade Unions in Ukraine remain strong in their support of working people and their communties.
Construction Workers of Ukraine, are essential to their countries rebuilding and repairing of dmagaed infrastructure, and whilst they continue working in war-torn cities, they also are ensuring training is given to Union members within the country and wherever they have members.
The construction workers' union of Ukraine, PROFBUD, will mark International Workers' Memorial Day in Ukraine with asbestos awareness training. PROFBUD has also announced BWI 28 April materials and booklets will be translated translated into Ukrainian, reports website 28th April.org
In UK's events, perhaps we should also remember that the defenders of Ukraine, armed services personell and civil defence, construction workers, and emergency services, are also lsoing their lives due to the type of work they now have to do.
